Bayas<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Las bayas son una buena fuente de polifenoles, especialmente antocianinas, micronutrientes y fibra. Las antocianinas, un tipo de antioxidante que se encuentra sobre todo en la piel de las bayas, aumentan el colesterol HDL, el &#8220;bueno&#8221;, y el LDL, el &#8220;malo&#8221;. Remolacha<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; La remolacha contiene unos fitoqu\u00edmicos conocidos como nitratos. Estos nitratos interact\u00faan con la saliva y las bacterias de la lengua, que los convierten en nitritos. Al ingerirlos, estos nitritos se convierten en \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico en tu tracto gastrointestinal o vuelven a entrar en tu circulaci\u00f3n en forma de nitrito, lo que crea una especie de efecto reductor de la tensi\u00f3n arterial de liberaci\u00f3n prolongada. Chocolate negro<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>-Los flavanoles del chocolate negro al 87% pueden estimular el endotelio, el revestimiento de las arterias, para que produzca \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (NO), que es un gas. Una de las funciones del NO es enviar se\u00f1ales a las arterias para que se relajen, lo que disminuye la resistencia al flujo sangu\u00edneo y, por tanto, reduce la tensi\u00f3n arterial.
